I wrote a proposal to our school council for funding for a wonderful online home reading program 'Lecture Enfant'. School council approved the proposal and has generously given our class the funds for a subscription. Please have a look (and listen!): You child's username and password can be found on the front page of their agenda. Have fun tracking the reading on the mini 100s sheet provided- it will be a wonderful visual for you and your child to track their progress. Email me if you have any questions. Personal earphones are a must! In light of our recent 'Licecapades' (6 students and teacher have had to deal with these little critters)....I am asking that each student has his or her own headphones. Part of my proposal included a set of 5 head phones, but I will be waiting until the Spring to order those.
Please ensure that you child has a working pair of headphones, so that they can be included in our classroom initiatives. Pokémon is a big deal in Room 13! We have been reading French Pokémon stories and creating our very own Pokémon cards and characters! Below is a link to the series in French (woo hoo)- I am forever on the lookout for ways to make French fun and engaging. Hello Room 13 Families,
As per board policy, a very important 'Green Form' was sent home on Thursday. Please read it, sign it and send it in with your student on Monday. I forgot to write this on the board for homework, sorry for the Sunday email blast. :) Please email me if you have any questions or if you need a duplicate sheet. [email protected] Thanks in advance for your help with this matter, Madame Guy To help with your planning, below is a list of our PD days for rest of this school year.

Our 'Super Golden Geese' are off and flying on another great adventure together. The end of 2018 saw so much to be proud of: students setting goals and crushing them. Leaders in training learning how to promote a school wide events and initiatives (Terry Fox Run, French Culture Friday announcements). An incredible Holiday performance that showcased our talents and showed what a wonderful T.E.A.M we are in room 13! I cannot wait to see what learning adventures we will have in 2019. A huge thank you to you, the parents, for your generous gifts and thoughtful cards. Miss Ree and I felt so grateful and also so guilty that time got away from us on that last day to write thank you cards. Please excuse our lapse in etiquette and know that we felt very appreciated and spoiled! :) Miss Ree had her baby, Madden Joshua William on Christmas Day! Both she and baby are doing well. She misses the class very much and will be visiting with Baby Madden in a few months. We welcome with a huge 'HONK' Ms. Boutilier. A kind and creative educator, who is thrilled to be working with us, Ms B. is the perfect addition to our flock of geese! :) Curriculum Connect:
